I remember reading about the original Bronx Zoo Yankees of the mid-to-late
70's about how Ron "Gator" Guidry a bonafide Cajun, used to play drums in
the clubhouse before games driving everyone crazy. He currently plays drums
and washboard in a band in Louisianna.

"Cha Cha" or the "Baby Bull", Orlando Cepeda is part of a multi-generation
family of Puerto Rican musicians and is a huge jazz and Latin music fan to
this day, Cal Tjader wrote a song in his honor.

My compatriot,"El Duque", Orlando Hernández released an album on his own
label as did Rubén Sierra.

Bert Campaneris who once played every position in a 9 inning game is quite a
conga player.

Cuban scat singer and trumpeter, Bobby Carcassés was a track and field star
untill he retired to pursue music.
