considering that there are NO guidelines for etiquette when signing up for  
this list at jazzweek.com--something i've pointed out to you before--i can only 
 go by what i see in other posts, and i did not feel like mine had crossed 
the  line. in fact, i feel like i see postings with more hype than the one i  
made pretty regularly. 
in any case, enforcing "violations" can only be done with meaning if you've  
stated what the rules are in the first place. otherwise, i can only go by what 
i  see in other posts and interpret accordingly, which is what i did. so, if 
you  don't want people violating your unspoken etiquette, then speak it, put 
it  in writing, and do so at the sign up. otherwise, you're leaving it open to  
interpretation.
