[JPL] Walter Becker blindfold

So Walter Becker despises drum solos. Hmmmm.......wonder what he thought about Steve Gadd's magnificent solo on "Aja?" I had always thought that Fagen was the true brain behind "Dan" anyway and I think this just about confirms my thinking.
I would also expect someone like him to dis the soprano but true jazz folk? I guess Trane, Garrett, Marsalis, Liebman, Shorter, Wilson, Potter, Cannon, Roscoe Mitchell, Joshua Redman, etc.....were all just wasting their time and playing noise on this crappy stick figure of metal. I think not.

C'mon, admit that you're nodding in agreement with his comments on the
soprano saxophone (with all due respect to the late Steve Lacy).
