Seriously Ed, we probably focused more on theme oriented things like Haden's take on "America the Beautiful" from "American Dreams" and Grusin's "America" from "West Side Story" to name a couple. There were plenty more but we didn't stray too far from what we normally do for jazz programming on WHRV.

Also, anyone know the correct pronounciation for "Ginai?" Her take on "Whisper Not" is very nice.

Spins were off across the board -- 45 of the top 50 declined
significantly -- including Roy Hargrove, Mark Elf, and Eldar, which
I'm guessing are not in your category of weak releases. So it's not
likely that entirely.
