Peeps,

So many baseball fans here on this list!!! As a native New Yorker I
love both the Yankees and the Mets and am disappointed there won't be
another "subway series."

I've found so much amusement in these posts that have nothing to do with
music. What songs are you using in celebration of this time of
post-season play?

Let's go Mets!!!!!

Bobby "Ya Gotta Believe" Jackson

I haven't read through all these posts, and sorry if this is a repeat
answer.
The Mets colors are simple...........they are also the official colors
of the State Of New York (check the flag), and the 'unies' are a combo
of National League former NY area teams (Giants & Dodgers) as well as
the pinstripes from the Bronx.

First, I agree with a couple of recent posters, let's not turn this list
in
to a sports bar.

But, I feel compelled to respond, because you're both wrong. The Mets
colors are orange and blue, to keep the National League connection after
the
Dodgers and Giants fled west. Orange for the Giants, and Blue for the
Dodgers
(Frishberg and Lasorda indeed bleed Dodger Blue). Pinstripes are not a
color,
and nothing of the Mets is in tribute to the Yankees.
