I'd love to hear it if it exists! There is certainly a Philly connection 
between Shirley and Trane. Every fall we have a John Coltrane Memorial 
Concert here in Boston. Mary Alexander, Trane's Cousin Mary, attended the 
concert just about every year until she had a stroke last year. Several years 
Shirley Scott drove up from Philly to Boston with Cousin Mary to attend the 
concert. She played in the concert once.

Ravi found some music at his parents house and some of that has been reissued 
and from what I've heard there is more. I don't know if he's looked in the 
Impulse vaults. He'd be the one to ask about this recording. Anybody have his 
email address?

Incidentally, just before Trane joined Miles, he had joined Jimmy Smith's band 
for what was supposed to be a two week engagement. He didn't complete the 2 
weeks because he left to join Miles.
