Definitely,

A very uplifting sonic experience. Jeff Richman is really turning this
"tribute" thing into what it always should have been - great music that
stands up on it's own. Too many older (especially some of those Hendrix
tributes) have almost zero appeal to anyone but a serious fan. These new
Jeff Richman masterpieces (Fusion for Miles, Vision Of An Inner Mounting
Apocalypse, and The Royal Dan) are fantastic Cd's that are just great music.

Hat's off to Jeff for another masterpiece!!!

It's funny in that Arturo and I were talking about "Oye Como Va" earlier
because I just received the new "Viva Carlos" release from Tone Center
Records. I love this CD! Ten guitarist paying tribute to Carlos Santana such
as Pat Martino, Mike Stern, Robben Ford, Eric Gales and many others. Also
featuriing Dave Weckl. Many of the Santana classics like "Jingo," "Europa,"
"Samba Pa Ti," "Jungle Strut" and even a 7/4 version of "Oye Como Va" are
played with new and very interesting arrangements. Wild.If you're a Santana
fan get your paws on this one.

''It goes without saying that FRANK SINATRA could have enlisted the services
of any accompanist he wanted. The fact that he chose RUSS KASSOFF speaks
volumes about Kassoff’s unequivocal artistry, which is splendidly showcased
on SOMEWHERE'' (Jack Bowers-AAJ).  After almost 40 years as a professional
musician, KASSOFF's first album as a leader features his serene beauty,
intriguing style, and vivid concepts as an outstanding composer and gifted
improviser. With MARTIN WIND (bass) and TIM HORNER (drums), ''SOMEWHERE is
vibrant, compelling, and destined to become an essential component of
collections that favor jazz trios'' (Paula Edelstein-AMG).  ''Performed with
class and a fine touch'' (Marion McPartland), ''SOMEWHERE is a masterpiece''
(Bucky Pizzarelli). ''I loved the Kassoff CD. It's a beautiful
recording. Russ is a hell of a good piano player.'' (Dave McKenna)

WITH A NEW RESPECT FOR THE MEANING OF ''4TH QUARTER'' FROM A RADIO
PROGRAMMER'S PERSPECTIVE, YOUR EMBRACE AND PERSONAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF
''SOMEWHERE'' DO ME GREAT HONOR.
Sincerely, Russ.
