It was an exciting night at the end of March 2001 when sax giant Dewey
Redman appeared on the stage at the then Northsea Jazz Festival - Cape Town
now Cape Town International Jazz Festival, it was my job to introduce him to
the throng of jazz lovers gathered at the festival and what a performance it
was. A night of music never to be forgotten and totally enjoyed by all who
sat in on the performance I was lucky to have heard, met him and enjoy his
music. He will be missed but his memory lives on through his music.
Condolences to his family and friends from his Cape Town Fans and listeners
to FMR 101.3

Kindest regards,
See it . with your own ears
