There's a very beautiful short track - 2:19 (too long?) which is the title
track of Art Lillard's Reasons To Be Thankful which came out this year on
Summit Records. Also very appropriate for programming at Thanksgiving time.
Check it out.

Where did I read that Gary Walker was looking for a 2-minute piece of
music? I think it was the liners to the new Terry Gibbs record. But I just
came across the perfect piece. "That Old Black Magic" from "Serenade to a
Bus Seat" by Clark Terry. Clocks in at 1:59. Seems like the band was just
getting started and they fade out - I guess the take must have been
ruined.
