[JPL] Once again jazz89KUVO is part of NPR's Toast of the Nation

For the 3td time jazz89KUVO is proud to be part of the annual NPR New Year's
Eve radio spectactular known as Toast of the Nation. This year's line up is
as always quite formidable. For the Rocky Mountain time zone countdown to
Midnight and 2008, jazz89KUVO-Denver will be host station and city as we
present Denver's own Convergence, a swinging, slamming ensemble of the
highest caliber featuring John Gunther-saxes, Greg "Gizzie"
Gisbert-trumpet/flugel, Eric Gunnison-piano, Mark Simon-bass and Paul
Romaine on drums. The event will take place live from one of the Top 100
Jazz Clubs of the World, Dazzle Jazz Restaurant and Lounge hosted by
jazz89KUVO's own Susan Gatschet-Reese. Our own engineering crew will team up
with the state-of-the-art Toy Box remote engineering truck, NPR personnel
and Alfredo Cruz as project manager for the broadcast.

For those in attendance there wil be an additional set by Convergence and
the Front Range's own Colin Stranahan Quintet playing as well with yours
truly-Arturo Gómez dee jaying a Sweet Soul Shakedown dance party set in
between live music sets, 5:30pm til 2am.
