Before relocating to London, Jimi Hendrix in between tour dates for the
Brothers Isley and Curtis Knight would often go to Small's Paradise in
Harlem USA for the jazz jam sessions held there, this was during the time
that Overbrook's own #13-Wilton Norman Chamberlain-the legendary Big Dipper
was the owner of the club and it was known as Big Wilt's Small Paradise.

I have a LP actually EP of Jimi with Buddy Miles and Lightnin' Rod(Jalal
Nuriddin) of the Last Poets and Hustler's Convention fame, Jimi plays guitar
and bass on Doriella Fontaine, Buddy "California Raisin" Miles doubles up on
drums and organ, this is years before Jimi's best group-IMO-Band of Gypsys,
Fontaine is a proto-type hip hop track.
