fest t-shirt and cap.

Last year's winner, KSJS' Dr. Brad Stone, had this to say of his

*"**The city is clean and beautiful, particularly the waterfront - an
ideal location for the Festival. The Festival itself was well-organized
and efficiently run - and I was impressed by the huge crowds that
regularly gathered to hear JAZZ - they showed that it is not necessary
to be like other Festivals around the country that call themselves Jazz
Festivals but then feature other kinds of music to attract large
audiences - the audience was certainly there for jazz music alone. The
venues for the various stages, and the sound on each, were terrific. I
understand now why the Detroit Jazz Festival has been hailed by so many
as THE premiere jazz festival in the country."*

*PLEASE NOTE:* Contest Eligibility is determined by submitting the
Carriage Agreement no later than June 15th.

The program will be mailed to you in the form of 2 one-hour (58 minutes)
CD's. CD's will ship by the 3rd week of June.

Please take a moment to fill in and return via email the Carriage
Agreement by June 15th. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Jazz:
