Still boucing back - I tried hitting reply to your last message - here's the email about Cy Touff and Sandy Mosse.

They arrived today - August 5th - thanx.
About Keester Parade (Mandel) / Centerpiece (Edison)
They are the same tune first recording of Keester (and there are now nine)
was Touff''s on December 4, 1955 and Rolf Ericson and Chubby Jackson
also recorded it under this title.

The first Centerpiece was recorded by and credited to Harry Edison on November 12,
1958 - there are 89 releases under this title including Bags and Trane and
LHR, both in 1959.
As for Allen's Alley - Coleman Hawkins recorded it on February 27, 1946
(featuring Allen Eager) and Bird called it Wee on record beginning in LA in
1947 - Sonny Criss also recorded it as Tornado in 1949.
Love the Cy and Sandy versions!
