Thanks for your response to my query. 
 
I'm really concerned that we sometimes forget the level of hard work and dedication to the art form that it takes to become a world class jazz musician; and to just play their music and not give them proper credit is completely unthinkable for me.  I was really blown away by a post several months ago when the response to a musicians stated disappointment that his/hers release got little or no exposure was - we are not in the business of promoting musicians, we are in the business of increasing listenership.  Although this is a business and there is always the bottom line to think of, I think jazz musicians are a world treasure and should be given much deserved respect.
