[JPL] OT: Leo Curran, R.I.P.

Some of the ...er... "senior" members of this list may recall one  of the 
last "road warriors," a Kenton band boy, bus driver, and road  manager Leo 
Curran. He managed the band during much of its heyday, a man with  impeccable 
hearing (and memory), who helped coordinate Kenton's Concert In  Miniature presence 
on NBC.
  
A very good friend of Leo Curran has called with news of Leo's demise  last 
night.
 
Leo suffered a terrible fall a couple of years ago, and except for  one 
6-month period at home, had been in 10 different hospitals  and rehab facilities. 
Bacterial infection finally did him in.
