It's interesting that nobody has mentioned Newport Festival Suite, from  
Ellington at Newport. I'm just guessing that owing to the attention that  
Diminuendo and Crescendo in blue achieved, Newport Festival Suite might be  the 
best-selling of all those that are mentioned.
    ("Blues to be There" being a very clever title,  don't ya think?)
Then, there's always RTF's "Celebration Suite," and Bob Curnow's "Chicago  
III Suite," written for and recorded by Kenton, who also was successful  with 
Johnny Richards' Cuban Fire Suite. Curnow also adapted Celebration Suite  for
