This is my playlist for "Primetime Jazz", Friday May 8th heard on Radio Adelaide 101.5FM (Australia) now from 7-9pm (CST).

In this program I'm looking at the career of (Dr) Lonnie Smith whose current release is sitting high in the Jazz Charts. Its amazing to hear some of his 60s Blue Note releases which featured the likes of Ronnie Cuber, George Benson, Lee Morgan, Julian Priester and Bernie Maupin.

Many thanks to all the fine artists and labels who continue to support great Jazz being heard in this part of the world.
