This was in today's Taylor on Radio newsletter:

Just-sold Cleveland-area WNWV (107.3) is apparently going back to smooth jazz.

Akron-based Rubber City Radio is paying Elyria-Lorain Broadcasting $6.5 million for WNWV, and Cleveland Scene says they're apparently not keeping the two-year-old adult alternative format. Instead, WNWV is reverting to smooth jazz, which it did until 2009 under the name "The Wave." The paper says the staff at the current adult alternative V107.3 are gone as of next Friday, and they're being asked not to talk about the situation. Most major U.S. markets are now without a smooth jazz outlet. Cleveland would be one of the first debuts in a while, on a full-power FM.
