I wrote a blues after my first meeting with the "stone" last week. Perhaps those
of you that can empathize will appreciate it and perhaps sing it in the
shower...

Pain all in my side
Taken drugs that make me high
The stone took that slide
Hurt enough to make me wanna cry

Got the kidney stone blues
Don't care if I'm wearin shoes
Got the kidney stone blues
You'll feel it when it wants to moves

Side, back up to down
Stone in my side face in a frown
Three centimeters told passin through
Too much pain too scared to move

Got the kidney stone blues
Don't care if I'm wearin shoes
Got the kidney stone blues
You'll feel it when it wants to move

Drug of this, drug of that
Most don't stop the pain, most fall flat
Time to hug the porcelain god
Not since the 70's...this I found odd

Got the kidney stone blues
Don't care if I'm wearing shoes
Got the kidney stone blues
You'll feel it when it wants to move

Finally on day three
No longer scared to pee
Payin the price for stone movin slow
Just want this motherfucker to get up and go

Got the kidney stone blues
Don't care if I'm wearin shoes
Got the kidney stone blues
You'll feel it when it wants to move

As Calhoun Tubbs would say..."thank ya ferry much"
