[JPL] Nazi rules for jazz performers

These rules could have been written by the chair of Bowling Green SU's music school back in the early 1970's during my time there as a music ed major .  In his view the only true musical instruments were violin, piano and voice.  Of the lesser instruments, the saxophone was least.  And by a lot. 

Although the jazz lab band had participated in and won accolades at a couple of  college festivals, he tried to remove the lab  band from the list of courses that one could receive college credit as late as 1973.  Tom Warrington, Tim Hagans and Rich Perry were among the undergrads at BG back then.
